Who We Are

PLYHS is a nonprofit production company dedicated to making live performance more accessible, collaborative, and sustainable.

We work with artists, schools, community organizations, venues, and producers to help turn ideas into fully realized performances, events, and creative experiences.

From early planning and logistics to technical production, staffing, design, rehearsal support, and execution, PLYHS exists to provide the systems, structure, and support that creative projects need to succeed.

We believe that great art should not be limited by access to resources, technical knowledge, or production experience. By offering hands-on support and educational opportunities, PLYHS helps remove barriers for artists and organizations that may not otherwise have access to professional-level production services.

Our Mission

PLYHS is a nonprofit production company dedicated to making live performance more accessible and sustainable by producing original and collaborative work and by providing planning, technical, and production support to artists and community organizations, with a focus on amplifying the voices of underrepresented individuals.

What We Do

PLYHS supports productions, events, and organizations at every stage of the process. Our services can be tailored to individual artists, schools, nonprofits, venues, festivals, and community groups.

  • Production Management

    We provide production planning and scheduling, budgeting and financial tracking, rehearsal, vendor, and venue coordination, run of show planning, staffing and crew coordiantion, produciotn paperwork and reporting.

  • Technical Support

    We provide support with sound, lighting, and projection design and execution, stage management services, equipment recommendations and rental support, technical rehearsal and live event support, audio playback, QLab, and show control systems.

  • Creative Development

    We support the development of original performacnes and events, collaborative production support, scrtip and story readings, workshops, adn development, and artistic planning and consultation.

  • Community and Organizational Support

    We are pleased to provide support in event planning for nonprofits and community organizations, production support for fundraisers, festival, and special events, technical consulting for schools and small organizations. We aim to create long-term partnerships with organizations seeking ongoing productino support.

  • Education

    We partner with schools to provide classes, workshops, and training for students in areas of stage management, produciton, sound, lighting, and performance. We offer school residencies that provideo performance and technical opoportunities for students utilizingp rofessional resources and mentors.
